Celebration of life service for Jase N. Holden, 5, North English, was held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 28, at the English Valleys Gymnasium, North English. He died Saturday, May 24, 2014, at his home near North English.

Burial was in the North English Cemetery.

A memorial fund has been established.

Jase Nicholas Holden was born July 22, 2008, in Iowa City, the son of Rebecca Lyn Holden. He attended English Valleys Elementary School, North English. He enjoyed listening to music, playing with toys that vibrate and being read to.

Holden is survived by his mother, Becci; his grandparents, Rick and Kathy Holden; aunts and uncles, Michael and Nikki Holden, all North English, and Rob and Effie Redig, Parnell, and a number of cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Edwin and Alice Holden and Larry and Betty Redig.
