Elizabeth Morlan, 85

Funeral service for Elizabeth “Betty” Morlan, 85, Overland Park, Kan., was held at 11 a.m. Wedneday, March 19, at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron, Mo. She died March 16, 2014.

Graveside service was held at 3:30 p.m. March 19 at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Bloomfield.

Elizabeth “Betty” Marie Morlan was born Oct. 16, 1928, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Oliver and Rachel (Van Blaricum) Loy.

She was a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church, the choir and P.E.O. Chapter AU. She loved to write poems and songs.

She married Clayton Morlan June 10, 1966, in Marengo.

Morlan is survived by her husband, Clayton Morlan, Overland Park; two sons, Tracy (Donna) Fultz, Ames, and Terry (Susan) Fultz, Ames; two daughters, Connie Fultz (Curt Feller), Ladora, and Janet (Jim) Barnes, Overland Park; seven grandchildren, Aaron, Shannon, Elizabeth, Danielle, Cerissa, Tyler and Rachel; seven great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bernard Fultz; her parents; one son, Kevin Fultz; four brothers, Leslie, John, William and James, and two sisters, Helen and Gladys.
