Debra A. Mikels, 54, Lake Mills, died at her home Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2013. It was her wish to be cremated and no services are planned.

Debra Ann (Cox) Mikels, known by family and friends as “Shy,” was born Nov. 29, 1959, in Moline, Ill., the daughter of James and Margret (Kalk) Cox.

She is survived by the “love of her life,” Rich; her siblings; her four loving children and her two chihuahuas, Teddy Bear and Boots.
