Steven J. Martinson, 58, Coralville, died Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Steven Joe Martinson was born Aug. 6, 1955, the son of Joseph David and Shirley (Duffy) Martinson. He graduated from high school at Huntington Beach, Calif.

He married Deborah Brenneman July 8, 1990, in Las Vegas, Nev. He worked for a number of years at Sheller Globe, Iowa City, as an equipment operator.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family.

Martinson is survived by his wife, Debbie, Wellman; two sons, Michael Martinson (Lindsey), Parnell, and Elias Martinson, Wellman; three granddaughters, Madalyn, Makenzie and Victoria; one nephew, Jared Dhondt, Williamsburg, and a half-brother, Fred Martinson, Newton.
