Graveside service for Joyce C. Osborn, 83, Williamsburg, was held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 25, at the Oak Hill Cemetery, Williamsburg. She died Monday, July 22, 2013, at the Highland Ridge Care Center, Williamsburg.

The Rev. Gary Van Heukelom officiated at the service.

A general memorial fund has been established.

Joyce Claire Osborn was born Sept. 11, 1929, in Williamsburg, the daughter of Ross and Ada (Allison) Hall. She attended school in Williamsburg and California and graduated from Brooklyn High School in 1947.

She married Gene Osborn in 1953 at the Little Brown Church, Nashua. They had a son, Michael. They later divorced.

She worked for many years at the Poweshiek County Savings Bank, Brooklyn, and later moved to Glendale, Ariz., where she worked as a secretary.

At the age of 65, she retired and moved back to Williamsburg. She enjoyed doing word finds, watching the Wheel of Fortune, quilting and going to the casino on her birthday.

Osborn is survived by one son, Michael and Patti Osborn, Belle Plaine; two grandchildren, Jonathan Osborn and fiance Brooke Bryan, Sully, and Crystal and Roger Belcher, Grinnell, and three great-grandchildren, Rylee Ann Belcher, Adelyn May Becher and Sawyer Madelyn Osborn.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dorothy Hall, and one brother, Robert Hall.
