Dennis Eugene Netser, 78, of Idaho Falls, formerly of Surprise, Ariz., died Sunday, April 21, 2013, at his home from complications of cancer.

Funeral services were held Wednesday April, 24, at Coltrin Mortuary, Idaho Falls, Idaho. The viewing was held one hour prior to services at the mortuary.

Interment was in Sun City, Arizona.

He was born Jan. 24, 1935, in Wellman, Iowa, to Boyd Moffit Netser and Marie Pettit Netser. He graduated from Wellman High School in 1953. He attended the University of Iowa and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to1956, and the Army Reserve from 1956 to1961.

He married Patricia Shyne on Feb. 14, 1958 in Colorado. In 1969 they moved to Worland, Wyoming where they made their home. They were later divorced.

Dennis worked for Washakie Memorial Hospital as a Physical Therapist for many years.

He married Irene Aragon in 2004 in Goodyear, Arizona. The couple made their home in Arizona until moving to Idaho Falls, Idaho in 2008.

His enjoyed golfing, fishing, gardening and staying busy.

He is survived by his wife, Irene of Idaho Falls; sons, Nick (Bambi) of Jamestown, N.D., and Mike (Christie) of Surprise, Ariz.; daughter, Deneen Hunter (Joe) of Worland ,Wyo.; brother, Gene of Haines City, Fla.; half-brother, Craig of Marion, IA; half-sisters; Barbara Womer of North Liberty, IA, Bonnie (Scott) Romine of North English, IA.; step daughters, Anna(Jorge) Canchola of Surprise, Ariz., Alexandra (Brian) Hapgood of San Francisco and Jessica Alvarado of Surprise, Ariz.; stepson Alex Alvarado, Glendale, Ariz.; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother, father and a grandson, Jacob Nicholas Netser.
