Cari Haworth, 50

Celebration of life service for Cari L. Haworth, 50, Williamsburg, was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Williamsburg. She died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, following a courageous battle with cancer.

The Rev. Carl Cloeter officiated at the service.

Burial will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Cedar Memorial Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Honorary casket bearers will be Matt Olson, Debbie Kruse, Dawn Price, Carol Krakow, Kathy Larson and Kim Hemm.

A general memorial fund has been established.

Cari Lynn Haworth was born Nov. 3, 1962, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Allen V. and Betty L. Swenson Haworth. She graduated from Williamsburg High School in 1981.

She was married to Terry Van Dee for a short time.

She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was a hardworking woman and enjoyed working around her home, macrame and crafts, working with her car, being with friends and camping. She was also a licensed locksmith.

Haworth is survived by one daughter, Brittany Haworth, Cedar Rapids; one granddaughter, Anathasia Lynn Haworth, Cedar Rapids; her parents, Allen and Betty, Williamsburg; one brother, Brad and Marsha Haworth; one niece, Abby Haworth, and step-nieces, Nicole and Bobbi Allar, Williamsburg.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents and an uncle, Bob Swenson.
