Nora Kinsinger, 92

Celebration of life service for Nora D. Kinsinger, 92, Wellman, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 27, at West Union Mennonite Church, rural Wellman. She died March 22, 2013, at Parkview Manor, Wellman, following an extended illness.

The Rev. Corey Miller and the Rev. Martha Yoder, West Union Mennonite Church, and the Rev. Nathan Ramer, Wellman Mennonite Church, will officiate at the service.

Family graveside services will be held one hour prior to the service.

Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, is in charge of arrangements.

Nora Darlene Kinsinger was born April 28, 1920, near Wellman in Johnson County, the daughter of John and Ester (Yoder) Doolin. She attended rural country school.

She married Maynard Kinsinger Dec. 8, 1940, in the home of John Y. Swartzendruber in rural Kalona. They lived and farmed in rural Parnell until moving to Wellman in 1975.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Kinsinger is survived by one son, Eddie and Doris Kinsinger, Parnell; six grandchildren, Karalee, Dawn, Jared Kingsinger, Candra Nickell, Gabe Kinsinger and Christie Anders; four great-grandchildren, Collin Nickell, Brittany Kinsinger, Carly Nickell and Jonathan Kinsinger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, in 2003; one daughter, Linda, in 2010; seven sisters, Bertha and Henry Yoder, Mary and Clayton Horst, Alta and Willard Marner, Laura and Wallace Eash, Erma and Enos H. Miller, Ruth and Rollie W. Yoder and Carrie, in infancy, and three brothers, Edward and Fannie Doolin, Nyle and Marge Jones and Charles in infancy.
