Celebration of life service for Shirley A. Frazer, 84, Bellingham, Wash., formerly of Victor, was held April 8 at Grace Church, Bellingham. She died Sunday, March 31, 2013, in Bellingham.
Burial was in Bellingham.
Shirley Anne Frazer was born Aug. 27, 1928, at Victor, the daughter of John H. and Freda Skersies Muller. She grew up on a farm southeast of Victor and graduated from Victor High School in 1945. She studied at Wheaton College and Drake University.
She married Lowell Frazer Aug. 9, 1952, in Des Moines. She worked for Burns and McDonnell Engineers in Kansas City until retiring in 1993, when she and her husband moved to Bellingham.
She was a devoted wife of 56 years, a selfless mother, loving grandmother, faithful friend and active church member.
Frazer is survived by her children, Jeff and Vanessa, Marietta, Ga.; Greg and Leanna, Santa Clarita, Calif., and Robyn and Kevin Kindlund, Bellingham; seven grandchildren and one brother-in-law, Bob Boren, Altoona.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister, Joy Boren.
