Gary R. Wyant, 70, died unexpectantly on Feb. 12, 2013 in LaJunta, Colorado.

There are no services planned.

He was born Jan. 1, 1943 to Arland and June [Mohr] Wyant near Deep River, Iowa. He attended English Valleys Community Schools and then continued his education at the University of Iowa. Shortly after graduation, he moved to live in California; later living in Washington state and finally, Colorado. Initially he worked in customs, followed by a career in appraisal work.

He is survived by his father, Arland Wyant and wife, Reva, of North English; his sister, Vickie, of South English; his loving companion of 36 years, and daughters, Rene and Shana.

He was preceded in death by his mother, June, and his son Michael.
