Diana Lenton, 60

Memorial service for Diana L. Lenton, 60, Marengo, was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at First Presbyterian Church, Marengo. She died Friday, March 8, 2013, at her home from a sudden illness.

The Rev. Diane Miller officiated at the service.

Inurnment will be in California.

A memorial fund has been established.

Diane L. Lenton was born Feb. 4, 1953, in Downey, Calif., the daughter of James and Christine Scott Routt. She graduated from Whittier High School in California in 1971.

She married Doug Lenton in Oroville, Calif. They later divorced.

She worked at Amana Refrigeration as an account manager and at Williamsburg Manufacturing for many years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Marengo; coordinator of the L.O.V.E. Network for 18 years and was actively involved with Walk to Emmaus.

She especially loved her grandchildren, fishing and reading.

Lenton is survived by two sons, Jason Lenton, Swisher, and Jeffrey Lenton, Dubuque; three grandchildren, Issabella Lenton, Coralville, and Alexander and Abbie Lenton, both Dubuque; a special daughter-in-law, Amy Lenton, and her significant other, Chris Cozad.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Lenton, and three brothers, David, Danny and Dennis Routt.
