Donna Kriegel, 84

Funeral Mass for Donna M. Kriegel, 84, Marengo, was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Marengo. She died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013,, at Marengo Memorial Hospital.

The Rev. Brian Shepley and the Rev. Joseph Roost officiated at the service.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Marengo.

A memorial fund has been established.

Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, was in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be left at www.klosterfuneralhome.com.

Donna Marie Kriegel was born Jan. 8, 1929, in Panguitch, Utah, the daughter of Frank and Jeane Linford LeFevre. She graduated from Davis County High School, Clearfield, Utah, in 1947.

She married Richard Kriegel Aug. 23, 1950, in Clearfield.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She worked part-time as a childcare provider with Cottontail Daycare. She was also a babysitter for her many grandchildren.

She was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Marengo.

Kriegel is survived by her children, Mary Jeane and Rich Watson, Laverkin, Utah; Elaine and Mike McBride, Marengo; Daryl and Janette, Marengo; Dennis and Teresa, Williamsburg; Michelle and Doug Blythe, Williamsburg, and Jillynne Young, Marengo; 17 grandchildren, Jennifer, Melissa, Jason, Jeremy, Joseph, Joshua, Jacqueline, Darys, Kaitlyn, Dillon, Hayley, Bryson, Brandon, Bradley, Garrett, Marshall and Carter; 14 great-grandchildren, Aiden, Aspen, Caelem, Evangeline, Willa, Aubrey, Isaelle, Eva, Lydia, Nolan, Maggie, Tyson, Joslyn and Hunter, and a special “daughter,” Sharon Carney.

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; one grandson, Matthew; one brother, Junior, and one brother and one sister in infancy.
