Memorial service for Victoria D. “Vicki” Tesar, 53, Marengo, was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at the Belle Plaine Community Center. She died Friday, Dec. 28, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids.

Larry Tesar officiated at the service.

Inurnment will be at a later date.

Victoria Diane Tesar was born Feb. 5, 1959, in Iowa City, the daughter of Laurence and Betty Fetter Tesar. She graduated from Belle Plaine High School in 1977.

She was employed at Amana Refrigeration as a mold operator for over 34 years. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family and friends.

Tesar is survived by one son, Nicholas Duffy, Bloomfield; her mother, Betty Tesar, Marengo; four brothers, Larry and Holly Tesar, Excelsior Springs, Mo.; Dennis Tesar and Heidi Reichhold, Lakewood, Colo.; Bryan Tesar, San Francisco, Calif., and Terry and Lisa Tesar, Marion, and her special friend, Bill Morgan, Ames.

She was preceded in death by her father, in 1981.
