Graveside services with military rites for Robert E. Fuller Sr., 76, Cedar Rapids, known as Cobb by family and friends, will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 26, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. He died Thursday, May 3, 2012, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Cedar Rapids, after a long illness.

A memorial fund has been established.

Robert E. Fuller was born March 29, 1936, in Iowa City, the son of Claude and Loreen Blair Fuller.

He married Sandra R. Hollrah Sept. 9, 1961, in Kansas City, Mo. He was a machinist at Amana Refrigeration for over 41 years, retiring in 1994.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, refurbishing old John Deere tractors and yard work, as well as proudly serving in the Navy during the Korean War.

Bob was a wonderful husband, father, brother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Fuller is survived by his wife, Sandra; one son, Robert Jr., Cedar Rapids; two sisters, Ella Mae Sperry, Cedar Rapids, and Dorothy Von Lienen, Macon, Mo., and several nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Stacy Fuller, and a great-niece, Phoebe.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Marion and Bub, and one sister, Marge.
