Milford Milo Shaull, 1920 – 2010

Funeral services for Milford Shaull, 90, Keswick, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Nov. 22, at the United Methodist Church, Keswick. He died Friday, Nov. 19, 2010, at the Serenity House, Oskaloosa.

Burial was in the Sorden Cemetery near Webster.

Memorials may be made to the Keswick United Methodist Church or the Hospice Serenity House.
Harden Funeral Chapel, What Cheer, was in charge of arrangements.

Milford Milo Shaull was born Nov. 18, 1920, near Webster, the son of Raymond and Louise Pietsch Shaull. He graduated from Keswick High School in 1936.

He married Loretta Bair Nov. 18, 1942, in Lancaster, Mo. He farmed in the Keswick area for many years before retiring in 1980.

Like most farmers, he demonstrated a tremendous work ethic. As soon as harvest was completed he began preparing for the next planting season. He was a great yodeler and had a very loving nature. He possessed strong family values and was a member of the United Methodist Church, Keswick.

Shaull is survived by his wife; two daughters and their husbands, Nancy and Dan Ritchie, Carlisle, and Shelley and Mike Kirby, Oskaloosa; two sons and their wives, Roger and Susie Shaull, Solon, and Brian and Lani Shaull, Keswick; one daughter-in-law, Debb Shaull, Sigourney; one sister, Evelyn Wilkinson, Marion; 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Shaull, and one sister, Dorothy Cadwallader.
