Celebration of life memorial service for Terry L. Schulz, 50, Conroy, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 17, at Powell Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Williamsburg. He died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at Waverly Health Center, Waverly.

The Rev. Miles Renaas will officiate at the service.

A general memorial fund has been established.

Terry Lee Schulz was born Jan. 11, 1960, in Waverly, the son of Melvin Jacob and Karen Ann (Buhr) Schulz. He graduated from Waverly Shell-Rock High School, the University of Northern Iowa and the Business Institute of Technology, Cedar Falls.

He married Susan Turner March 12, 1983. They later divorced.

He married Dianne Kay Hardy Feb. 8, 1997, in Cedar Rapids. He worked for J.B. Hunt, Williamsburg Manufacturing and was an independent agent at Schulz Insurance Agency, Conroy.

He enjoyed motorcycling, car shows and his cigar box collections.

Schulz is survived by his wife; his children, Megan Schulz, Conroy; Jesse Schulz and Daman Schulz, both Cedar Rapids; one grandson, Fox Chekota, Cedar Rapids; his stepchildren, Christopher Perry, Teresa Perry and Jeffrey Perry; his stepgrandchildren, Felisha Campbell, April and Andrew Perry and Alisha Perry; his parents, Karen and Donald Neil; one brother and his wife, Tod and Anna Schulz; one sister, Kimberly Schulz (Britt Marcussen); one sister-in-law, Deanna Schulz, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Melvin Schulz; one brother, Tracy Schulz, and his grandparents.
