Williamsburgh Journal, Williamsburgh (Iowa Co.), Iowa, 1 July 1887.

DIED.
At his late residence in this city to-day (Thursday) June 30, after an illness of several weeks, MR. DAVID JENKINS.

He was one of the old settlers of this community and was well and favorably known as an exemplary citizen, an honorable and upright christain gentleman, one that was loved by his family and friends and held in high esteem by his neighbors and acquaintances But his life work is ended, and fruition unending, joyous and happy with him has just commenced on the "Ever Green Shore." Funeral services to-morrow (Friday) at 2 P.M.
