The funeral of Jesse Gwin was one of the largest ever held in the city. Mr. Gwin had spent over 30 years of his life among this people and the friendships formed during that long sojourn were not only extensive but genuine and the sorrow shown by the people at his funeral heart-felt. Truly the family have lost a devoted husband and father and the relatives the truest of true friends and the community one of its best and most reliable citizens.
