Funeral services were held Friday, March 2, at 2:00 pm at Jones Funeral home in Williamsburg for Mrs. Will Slager. She died of a heart attack Wednesday, February 29, 1956.

Annie Christena was born May 7, 1883 near Williamsburg, the daughter of Detleff and Maria Klever. She married William Slager December 27, 1905. They lived on a farm in Troy Township until 1948 when they moved to Williamsburg. Mrs. Slager was a member of Pilot Grove Church.

Her husband, William, preceded her in death on November 11, 1950.

She is survived by two sons, Truman of Iowa City and Robert of Williamsburg.; a brother, Fred Klever; a sister, Mrs. Dan Goodman; and six grandchildren.
