Death of Mr. Patrick Noonan

Passing of one of Hilton's Respected Citizens.

Patrick Noonan, an old and respected citizen of Hilton, died at his home on Sunday. The funeral services were held on Tuesday at St. Patrick's Church, Marengo. Interment in Calvary Cemetery.

Patrick Noonan was a native of Ireland. He came to this country while young and easily and naturally assimilated the ways and customs of his adopted country. For several years he resided in Iowa City and from here he moved, many years ago, to the farm in Hilton upon which he resided until his death. He was an honest, industrious and God-fearing citizen and enjoyed the respect of all his fellowmen.

He leaves to mourn his death a wife and three daughters, Mrs. John Mahan of Hilton, and Misses Sarah and Margaret of the home. One son, John, died a few years ago.
