Death of Mrs. George Acree.

Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Conroy of Hilton dies at her Home in Atlanta, Ga. Buried at Marengo.

Mrs. George Acree died last week at her home in Atlanta, Ga., after a short illness. The body was brought back to the parental Conroy home in Hilton township, arriving on Thanksgiving Day, and the funeral procession followed it to St. Patrick's church, Marengo, where the funeral services were conducted by Father Carroll. The interment was in Calvary beside the bodies of her three sisters who preceded her to the spirit world.

Mrs. Acree was a daughter of Hon. and Mrs. James Conroy and was a woman of many attainments. Her education was rounded out by a term in Berlin and her exceptionally fine talent attracted the attention of the best critics in the country. A few years she was united in marriage to Mr. George Acree and for the past two years the home was in Atlanta, Ga. It is but a few months ago since she made an extended visit at the parental home in Hilton and the news of her death cast a gloom over the community in which she grew to that lovely young womanhood that was so beloved of all. A grief-stricken husband and one child survive to mourn the untimely death.

To all the sorrowing relatives the sincerest condolences are offered.
