Funeral Rites
Thursday

Funeral rites for Mrs. James (Glee) Hutzell, 71, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Hogan-Mckee Colonial Chapel in Mason City.

Mrs. Hutzell died in Mason City. Mrs. Hutzell died at a local hospital.

The Rev. Charles Haigh, associate pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate at the funeral. Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery at Victor, Iowa.

Mrs. Hutzell was born March 5, 1889, at Avoca, the daughter of Thomas and Ellen Nicholas. She was married to James Hutzell December 2, 1909 at Avoca. They lived at Victor until 1921 when they moved to a farm near Mason City. In 1947 they retired and moved to Mason City.

Mr. Hutzell preceded her in death in 1956.

She is survived by five sons, three daughters, 31 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
