Darlene Hutzell was born on December 10, 1936, the daughter, and second child, of Donald Thomas and Ruth Alice (Motland) Hutzell. She died the same day -- after living for only four hours.

She is survived by her parents, Donald & Ruth Hutzell, an older sister, Phyllis Maxine, and four grandparents: Oscar & Ida Nodland, and James A. and Glee Ellen (Nicholas) Hutzell.

Burial was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Victor, (Iowa County), Iowa.
