Mrs. T. McDonald Succumbs Friday

Mrs. Theresia McDonald, 75, a lifetime resident of Iowa county, died Friday following an operation at Mercy hospital in Cedar Rapids. She had been in declining health for some time and had been bedfast for three months.
Funeral services were held Monday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church in Williamsburg, with Fr. J. J. Gaule officiating. Burial was at Millersburg. Pallbearers were Francis O'Rourke, Joe O'Rourke, Hugh O'Rourke, Cepil Kelly, Clair Kelly and Harry Miller.
Daughter of Mike and Clarissa Murrin Kelly, she was born in Iowa county Jan. 21, 1886. After attending grade school she was married to Charles McDonald at Millersburg. They farmed near North English for many years. She was a lifetime member of the Catholic church.
Surviving are four children: Mrs. Gerald (Cleopha) Hradek, Wade McDonald, Mrs. Tom (Alta) Lillis jr., and Mrs. Robert (Wilma) Dane; three brothers: Lack Kelly, Hanson, Idaho; John Kelly, North English; Mike Kelly, Independence; one sister, Mrs. Clare O'Rourke, North English.
