MISS M. KLEEVER
_____
Passed Away at Her Home in This City Sunday
_____
Margaretha Christiana Kleever was born in West Pilot, Iowa County, May 17, 1870, and died in Williamsburg, April 13, 1924, at the age of 53 years, 10 months and 26 days.

About twenty years ago she was removed to Williamsburg with her parents where her home has since been made. For the past five years she has been in very poor health, being practically confined to her home.

When a young girl she confessed her faith in Christ and was baptized in the Lutheran church. About 29 years ago she joined the MP Church of Pilot and remained a faithful consistent member of that church for some time. Shortly after moving to Williamsburg she joined the Methodist church, which church has been her religious home since. While her health permitted she was a very active worker in the church. She was also a member of the Rebecca lodge, being very active in this organization.

She leaves to mourn her passing her aged father, two sisters and two brothers.

Miss Kleever was well known over this section of the county, she being active in the church activities of the community. Being endowed with all the virtues of womanhood, she was universally loved and respected by all who knew her and the news of her death has cast a shadow of gloom over the community.

The funeral services were held on Tuesday afternoon at the Methodist church in Williamsburg, Rev. H.C. Druse conducting the services. A large gathering of relatives and friends attended the services, paying their last respects to this good woman. Interment was in the cemetery in Pilot Township.
