Final Rites Are At Victor For Mrs. Meyer, 35

Final rites for a Victor woman, Mrs. W.C. Meyer, 35, were held at St. James Lutheran Church in Victor Wednesday, Oct. 16 with the Rev. James Schroeder in charge. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Mrs. Meyer died Oct. 14, 1957, at the Marengo Memorial Hospital after eight years of illness. She had spent the last eight weeks in the local hospital and prior to that was in an Iowa City hospital nine weeks.

Frances Irene Meyer, daughter of John W. and Edna Reed Klever was born on a farm southwest of Williamsburg, Apr. 8, 1922. She lived there until she was married Dec. 19, 1939, to W. C. Meyer when they moved to the Victor community.

She was an active member of St. James church until her health failed.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Lena, 14 and Elaine, 9; three brothers, Virgil, Walter and Louis Klever, South Amana; three sisters, Mrs. Mary McCammant, Mrs. McCammant and Edith May Klever, Williamsburg. Her parents preceded her in death.
