EDWARD LIVINGSTON IS BURIED FRIDAY

Final rites for Edward Livingston, 76, a resident of this community all his life, were held Friday afternoon at the Jones Funeral home, with Rev. S.H. Roser, pastor of the First United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Music for the service was furnished by Mrs. George Meyer, with Mrs. Ferne matheson at the organ. Pallbearers were R. J. Wright, Frank Everist, Edward Mahan, Ora Enfield, Charles Claypool and Carl Garringer. Burial was in Oak Hill cemetery.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Angus Livingston, he was born Oct. 10, 1884, on a farm in Troy Township.

He died at St. Luke's hospital in Cedar Rapids Wednesday, May 31. He had been in failing health several weeks.

He was married to Elizabeth Meier Sept. 30, 1909. She preceded him in death May 27, 1932. He was married to Thelma Freeman March 4, 1937.

He was a member of the First United Presbyterian church, and of the I.O.O.F. and Rebekah lodges.

Surviving are eight children: Mrs. Iola Weekly, Newhall; Mrs. Leona Klever, Williamsburg; Mrs. Joyce STangland, Williamsburg; Eugene Livingston, Burbank, Calif.; Dean Livingston, Bellflower, Calif.; Mrs. Frances Munson, Tom and Garth Livinston, all of Williamsburg; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Davis of Des Moines and Mrs. Amelia Wiggins of Aledo, Ill.
