DIED

Friddie Klever was born Oct. 9th, 1887 and died Sept. 26th, 1898, thus being 10 yrs., 11 mo. and 17 days old. He had been afflicted for years, but he bore his burden with patience. For the last 21 days his sufferings were intense, but God said it is enough, come up higher and his little spirit took is flight, never to return. He leaves a father, mother, three sisters and three brothers to mourn the loss of one they loved so much, but we feel that he is safe in the arms of Jesus.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Robb and the enterment made at Pilot Grove cemetery.

When we see a precious blossom,
That we tended with such care,
Rudely taken from our bosom,
How our aching hearts despair,
Round his little grave we linger,
Till the setting sun is low,
Feeling all our hopes have perished,
With the flower we cherish so,
We shall sleep, but not forever,
There will be a glorious dawn,
We shall meet to part no never,
On the resurrection morn.
