Died, at his home in Toledo, Iowa, on Sunday, March 20, 1887, Mr. JARED BEARDSLEY, aged 77 years and 2 months.

After an eights weeks illness with typhoid feer he passed peacefully away to a home among the "many mansions". For him death had no "sting." He was for many years a resident of Iowa County, at Genoa Bluffs.
