YOUNG MOTHER CALLED HOME
Mrs. Grover Hartz, of Washington Township Passed Away Last Thursday.

At the family home in Washington township, Mrs. Grover Hartz passed away on Thursday, May 22. The Deceased was a widely known in northern Iowa county where her entire life had been spent.
The funeral service was held in the Methodist Episcopal Church in Koszta Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock and was in charge of the Rev. Ellis. Many friends were present to pay their last tribute of respect to this young mother. Burial was in the Koszta cemetery.

Anna Naomi Elliott was the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Elliott, Pioneer residents of the Koszta community. She was born near Koszta on April 13th, 1889 and passed away on May 22nd, 1919 at the age of 30 years, 1 month and 9 days. During her short life she was a favorite with her friends and associates. She was a constant attendant at church and Sunday school in Koszta.
On February 12th, 1910 she was united in marriage to Mr. Grover Hartz and to this union there were born four children, Wilbur, Arlene, Richard and Harriet. Besides the husband and motherless children she is survived by her aged parents, two brothers, Andrew E. Elliott of Mitchellville, Iowa and Leonard L. Elliott who is now in the service of his country in far off Siberia, and one sister, Mrs. Lena Pohle of Des Moines. One brother, Clyde Elliott died in France on October 8, 1918. The family have the sympathy of friends in their bereavement.
