Raymond Lee Storck, age 68, died Friday, March 14, 2008 at Mercy Hospital, Iowa City, following a brief illness. Funeral Services: 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, March 18, 2008 at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo with Rev. Katie Dawson officiating. Burial will be in the Marengo Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 P.M. Monday, March 17, 2008 at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. A memorial fund has been established.

He is survived by his wife Connie; his children, Raymond Jr. (Jennifer) of Scottsdale, AZ, Lonnie of Marengo, Richard Zuber (Tracey) of Fountain Valley, CA, Daniel Storck of Des Moines, Marilyn Mouchka (Dan) of Victor and Brenda Sedlacek (Jeff) of Marengo; 8 grandchildren, Rebecca, Ryan, Jordan,Travis and Taylor Storck, Bryant Westfall, and Chad and Caleb Cronbaugh; and two great grand children, Addie and Clarissa Westfall. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Raymond Lee Storck was born December 3, 1939 in Pocahontas, Iowa, the son of Raymond E. and Ruth Spiker Storck. He attended Hilton High School in Conroy, and graduated from Marengo High School in 1958. He later graduated from the Cedar Rapids Barber College. Raymond was a barber and also owned and operated Curly’s Tavern in Marengo. He married Connie Wallen on March 8, 1980 in Marengo. He retired in 2000.

Raymond enjoyed fishing and spectator sports. He especially enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren.
