Final rites for Mrs. Ida Rumple

Victor: Mrs. Ida Mae Rumple a lifelong Iowa County resident died at Marengo Memorial hospital June 7 after entering the hospital May 25. She was 74 years old.
Final rites were held at the Ohio Methodist Church with the Rev. John Alexander officiating. Burial was in the Ohio Cemetery.
Arthur Lang sang two selections "Shadows" and "Beyond the Sunset", with Mrs. Eugene Tanner at the piano. Flowers were cared for by Mr. & Mrs. Frank Mathes, Mrs. Mabel Davis and Mrs. Hazel Tanner. Casket bearers were Harold Tanner, Carter Atkinson, R.O. Davis, Adolph Herman, Ossie Hollopeter & Frank Begunck.
Mrs. Ida Mae Rumple, the daughter of J.N. and Margaret Rosenberger was born on a farm southeast of Ladora, Aug. 28, 1881. She attended the rural school aand grew to womanhood in that community.
Nov. 15, 1904, she was married to William E. Rumple of Ladora at the Ohio church by the Rev. E.S. Brown. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Mr and Mrs. Rumple had five children, three of whom survive. After her husband died on June 2, 1921, she started keeping house for James Mathes near Ladora on March 1, 1927.
She is survived by her two daughters, Mrs. Rene Seye, Guernsey; Mrs. Henry Begunck, Ladora; a son, John at home; five grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. P.E. Slaymaker, Murray and a brother Earl Rosenberger, Ladora.
