Sue Ann Lewis, age 63 of Marengo, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at her home from an apparent heart attack. Memorial Service: 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, January 30, 2008, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo with Rev. Katie Dawson officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date. Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.

She is survived by her husband Dale; two daughters, Tammy LeMaster of Downing, IA and Cindy Brockmeyer (Dick) of Clarence, IA; two sons, Timothy Lewis (Tammy) of Brooklyn and Casey Lewis of Marengo; six grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Lewis of Cedar Rapids and two brothers, Claude Franks of Tucson, AZ and Henry Franks of Cedar Rapids. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Ralph Franks, Jr. and Jergen Ratashak, fiancé of Tammy LeMaster.

Sue Ann Franks was born April 23, 1944 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa the daughter of Ralph and Viola Woods Franks. She received her education in the Cedar Rapids schools and married Dale Lewis on July 17, 1961 in Cedar Rapids. She was a homemaker and has been a resident of Marengo for 38 years.
