Lois G. Miller was born on November 12, 1939 in Bloomfield, IA the daughter of Earl J. And Freda M. Gottman Baker. She attended country school near Barnes City, in Kinross and graduated from North English High School. She was united in marriage to Lonnie L. Miller on January 22, 1961 at the Kinross Christian Church. They lived in Keota 3 years before moving to their current home near Webster. Lois enjoyed helping on the farm, driving the tractors and was active with her children’s activities as they grew up. She coached Pee Wee league and enjoyed watching NASCAR races. Lois attended the First Baptist Church while her health permitted. She became a resident of the English Valley Care Center in North English in November 2005. She died there following a long illness on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the age of 67 years, 6 months and 22 days. She is survived by her husband Lonnie of Webster, IA; sons Rick Miller (Kristine) and Rodney Miller (Joni) both of Webster, and Jeffrey Miller (Julie) of South English; 8 grandchildren and a brother Joe Baker (Connie) of Harper. She was preceded in death by her parents.
