Pauline LaRue Stamey, 78, of Norway, Iowa died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Amana following a lengthy illness. Private services will be held.
Survivors include her four children Lisa (Gordon) Peterson and their children, Hanna & Halle; David Satmy & his children, Chris, Jordan & Chelsea; Scott (Terri) Stamy and their children, Celinda, Sydney, and Richard, Steve (Patti) Stamy and their children, Natalie, Amanda, Sophia and Vanessa; and a sister, Teddy Herrick of St. Louis, Mo.
She was proceded in death by her husband, Richard; parents; and a sister, Virginia.
Pauline was born Oct. 15, 1928 in Sedalia Mo., the daughter of Fred and Etta (Lodges)Milburn. She married Richard Stamy in Sedalia, Mo.
They made their home in Norway, Ia. for many years.
She was a member of the OES,Norway,Iowa and volunteered for many services. Pauline was devoted to her family and friends.
