Steffi Trade, age 81 died Thursday evening, August 17, 2006 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City following a brief illness. Private family services will be held at a later date. There will be no visitation. Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo is in charge of arrangements.

There are no immediate survivors. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings and her husband Earl, who died July 20, 1969.

Steffi Kroblinger was born July 4 1925 in Pasching, Austria, the daughter of Johan and Anna Hinterholz Kroblinger. She married Earl E. Trade on January 19, 1948 in Marengo. Steffi was employed by the Amana Woolen Mills and the Amana Furniture Shop
