Ronald L. Shaull, age 54 of Marengo, died Monday, June 12, 2006 at his home following a sudden illness. Memorial services: 1:30 P.M. Monday, June 19, 2006 First Presbyterian Church, Marengo with Rev. Jerry Rife officiating. Inurnment will be in the Marengo Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 P.M. Sunday, June 18, 2006 at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo. A memorial fund has been established.

He is survived by his mother, Verna Shaull of Marengo and a sister Connie Sonntag and husband Phil of North Las Vegas, NV. His father preceded him in death.

Ronald LeRoy Shaull was born June 26, 1951 in Marengo, Iowa, the son of J. LeRoy and Verna Kolsto Shaull. He received his education in the Marengo schools and graduated from Marengo High School in 1969. Ron served in the U.S. Navy. In earlier years he was employed as a mail carrier. Ron loved music and was an accomplished musician.
