Elizabeth (Betty June De Bont) Johnston, 82, of Cedar Rapids, died May 18, 2006, at Manor Care Center following an extended illness. Private graveside services: Mount Calvary Cemetery. Father Mark Osterhaus of St. Matthew's Catholic Church will officiate. Arrangements by Cedar Memorial Funeral Home.
Survivors include daughter, Dorothy (Ronald) Raymer, and grandson Russ Raymer, all of Cedar Rapids.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents, as well as sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Martin Moynihan.

Elizabeth (Betty June De Bont) Johnston was born June 2, 1923, the beloved daughter of Robert and Pauline (Gillam) De Bont, in Williamsburg, Iowa. She was employed as an inspector at Rockwell Collins for 33 years. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. She enjoyed going to the Witwer Senior Center to play cards, as well as being a member of the P3 Club.
