Sometime after 1883 but before 1885, Harrison J. and Lenoria (Rice) Joslin settled in Ida County. Both are buried in the Ida Grove Cemetery. They seem to have had a large family, 10 children at least:
Allen (1881-1966, buried in the Holstein Cemetery)
Chancey D. (1885-1954, buried in the Holstein Cemetery)
Dewitt (1892-1905, buried in the Ida Grove Cemetery)
Lenora Joslin, Mrs. Roy E. Nippert (1894-1974, buried in the Galva City Cemetery)
Harrison J. "Harry" Joslin, Jr., (1899-1996, buried in the Ida Grove Cemetery)
Isabel Joslin, Mrs. Harry Kurtz (Kuhrts?), of Cushing, Woodbury Co., in 1926
Rufus Joslin, of Mapleton, Monona Co., IA, in 1926
Ora Joslin, Mrs. A. Budd Watt of Holstein in 1926
Hazel Joslin, of Logan Twp., Ida Co., in 1926
Ruth Joslin, Mrs. Ray E. Hamel, of Sioux City, Woodbury Co., in 1926I would like to get birth and death dates (and burial places) for the Joslins above which show none, as well as spouses and descendants.
I'd like to correspond with a family-member of the Ida County branch of the Joslin family, who has an interest in genealogy. I can extend the genealogy back at least 3 generations before Harrison and Lenoria.
