Death of Mrs. Schuldt
Died – On Friday, January 10, 1908, Mrs. Catharine Schuldt, after a sickness of over two years. She was sick about a week with pneumonia. Mrs. Schuldt was born in Holstein, Germany, December 18, 1846, and when 20 years of age came across the ocean alone. From New York she went to Clinton County [Iowa] and after a few years there was married in Clinton to Peter Schuldt in 1872. They lived in Clinton several years, then to Crawford County and eight years ago they came to Ida Grove. Mrs. Schuldt leaves a husband, one son and two daughters. Three sons preceded her to the better world. The funeral was held Tuesday at 11:30 from the home on Quimby Street and the remains were interred in the Grant Cemetery. Rev. Mass and Rev. Amstein conducted the services.
