She died Jan. 11, 2021, at Loring Hospital in Sac City. Laura Lynn Fineran, daughter of Keith and Debra (Lansink) Fineran, was born June 2, 1978, in Ida Grove. She received her education and graduated from Odebolt-Arthur High School in 1997. Laura went on to further her education at Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge. She graduated with an A.S. in human services in 1999. In the same year, she was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Marzia. Laura was employed at the ethanol plant, Elite Octane of Atlantic. During her days off, she enjoyed spending time with family and working at “The Bar” in Lake View. She treasured her daughter, Marzia, and, just recently, made many timeless memories on a trip to Costa Rica, Cabo and Cozumel. Her nieces and nephews were next on her priority list. She attended everything she could and was always up to shenanigans. Laura’s pride and joy was her family. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Marzia Shivers of Fort Dodge; and her parents, Keith and Debra “Deb” Fineran of Arthur. Also surviving are her brothers: Jim (Mandy) Fineran of Sigourney and John (Sarah) Fineran of Carroll; her nieces and nephews: Ava, Addison, Ella, Trey, Tayten, Hayden and Haxton; a great-nephew, Hoyt; her grandmother, Leila Lansink; extended family; and dear friends. Laura was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Bernard Lansink; her paternal grandparents, Emmett and Catherine Fineran; her nephew, Emmett Fineran; her aunt, Barb (Jack) Milner; her uncles: John and Jim Fineran; and an aunt, Lois Fineran.
