HOLSTEIN – Services for Sandra K. Schuett, 79, of Holstein were held Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Holstein with the Rev. Tami Groth officiating and burial in the Holstein Cemetery at Holstein with services at Nicklas D. Jensen Funeral Home in Holstein is in charge of arrangements. She died Jan. 9, 2021, at AbiliT Senior Living in Holstein.
Sandra Kay Schuett was born Jan. 29, 1941 to Charles and Stella (Hall) Wilson. She married Gary Schuett Nov. 2, 1963, in Cherokee. She died Jan. 9, 2021, at AbiliT Senior Living in Holstein. To this union two children were born, Tim and Brenda. They raised their family in Holstein, where Sandra was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church in Holstein, where she played in the handbell choir. She is survived by her children: Tim and wife, Lori Schuett of Climax Springs, Mo., and Brenda Schuett of Omaha, Neb. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Jill Canavan of Climax Springs, Mo.; Ryan Canavan of Ames; and Devon Schuett of Denver, Colo.; and two great-grandchildren: Jacquez Canavan of Fort Dodge and Daytoria Johnson of Des Moines. She is also survived by two brothers: Harlan and wife, Joanny Wilson of Albuquerque, N.M., and Norman Wilson of Indianapolis, Ind.; and two sisters-in-law: Darlene and husband, George Franzkowiak of Schaller and Luella and husband, Dale Nydene of Storm Lake. Sandy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gary, in 1999; a grandson, Draylyn Johnson; a niece, Kim Blenner; a nephew, Kirk Franzkowiak; and a sister-in-law, Janice Wilson.
