Alfred Horstman Dies In Wyoming

Alfred Horstman, 64 died at his home in Casper, Wyo., on Wednesday April 28 , after suffering a severe heart attack.

He was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs August Horstman and was born and grew to young manhood on a farm near Battle Creek later coming to Ida Grove with his parents He attended the rural schools and Ida Grove high school. He had served as telegraph operator at Casper, Wyo. for 18 years. He was veteran of World War I.

Funeral services were held at Casper on Thursday, May 1 and burial was in the cemetery there.

Surviving are his widow, two daughters, Mrs Marjorie Clements of Elmwood Nebr Mrs. Mary
Maxon of Billings, Mont., one son, Dr Robert Horstman of Torrance. Calif and six grandchildren. Also, one sister Fannie Horstman of Ida Grove and five brothers, Ed of Davenport, Charles, Denver, Paul, Battle Creek, Otto, Omaha and Eitel of Cherokee
