Hold Services For John While

Funeral services for John White, 66, former Ida Grove city attorney, were held Tuesday at the Sacred Heart Catholic church in Ida Grove.

White died Saturday morning at his home following an illness. Father Dailey officiated the service and burial was in the Catholic Cemetery in Ida Grove.

White was a graduate of Notre Dame University Law School and had practiced law in Ida Grove since 1926. He served as city attorney in Ida Grove during 1965 - 66.

Survivors include his wife, Leone, a son, Matt; two daughters Colleen White and Mrs. F. J. Bettendorf (Sheila) of Columbus, Ohio; a brother, Morrell of Omaha; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Fitzpatrick of Danbury, Mrs. Francis Longchamp of Washington; D. C., and one granddaughter.
