Funeral services for 83 year old Louis Hass a former resident of the Holstein vicinity who passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 1, 1957, in a Sioux City hospital following a long illness were held on Friday afternoon, Oct. 4 from the Nelson- Berger funeral home in Sioux City with the Kev. Arthur Holtry of First Methodist church officiating.

Pamela Lowe, grand niece of Mr Hass of Sioux City sang "Beautiful Isle of Some Where" and the "Lord's Prayer."

Mr Hass is survived by his wife, Mrs Eva (Perkins) Hass of Sioux City; two brothers, Alfred of Holstein and Charles of Adair, la.; and one sister, Mrs. Henrietta Aikens of Ida Grove and a number of nieces and nephews of Sioux City and Holstein and vicinity,

Burial was in the Holstein Cemetery.
