Courtland Kinseth, 64, Drake, Colo., died August 9 (1974) at his hometown after a lingering illness. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. in Loveland, Colo.

Born in Ottosen and raised in Humboldt County, Mr. Kinseth graduated from Twin Rivers High School, Bode. He worked as a painter throughout Humboldt and Fort Dodge before moving to Loveland, Colo., in 1958. He married Leona Mann in 1944 at Fort Dodge.

Survivors include his widow, two step-daughters, Mrs. John Kinseth, Loveland, Colo., and Mrs. Robert Weisner, San Jose, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Harold Espe, Phoenix, Ariz.; and several grandchildren. His parents and one brother preceded him in death.
