Mabel O. Kinseth, 72, of Bode died Monday morning (January, 1975) in Pocahontas Community Hospital, where she had been a patient for one week.
Services were held Wednesday afternoon in St. Olaf Lutheran Church Chapel, with burial in St. Olaf Cemetery, Bode. Schellhammer Funeral Home of West Bend was in charge.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Rodney Lewis, Gibbons, Minn.; sisters: Mrs. Robert Stamper, Gilmore City; Mrs. Thelma Lindsay, Chathan, N.J.; Mrs. Robert Higgins, Duncombe; and Mrs. Ralph Salisbury, Fort Dodge, and brothers: Victor, Ole M. and Herbert, Fort Dodge.
Mabel Kinseth was born at Bode where she grew up and was educated. She was employed as a governess in Maine until she retired, and had lived in Pocahontas Manor Nursing Home for the past eight years.
