Oliver Lee, 73 of Bode died Saturday evening, March 22 (1975) in Trinity Regional Hospital West at Fort Dodge.

Services were held Tuesday afternoon, March 25, in St. Olaf Lutheran Church at Bode with burial in the church cemetery. Pastor Palmer Loken officiated at the last rites.

Surviving are the widow, Dolda; two sons, Robert Lee of Tulsa, Okla., and Terry Lee of Vinton; one daughter, Mrs. LeRoy (Beverly) Worby of Bode; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Mr. Lee was born Feb. 24, 1902 at Bode and educated there. On Aug 1, 1923 he was united in marriage to Dolda Dasen at Fort Dodge. He farmed in the Bode area until he retired in 1967 and the couple moved into Bode.

He served on the church council at Bode, and was a member of the Friendship Club at Bode and the Ottosen Commercial Club.

Special music was provided by soloist, Mrs. Donald Aure, and she was accompanied by organist, Mrs. David Engel. Casket bearers were Stan Olson, David Halsrud, Jim Halsrud, Orlin Olson, James Reinders and Jeff Dasen. Mrs. Richard Matheson, Mrs. Harlan Berge, Mrs. Ralph Larson and Mrs. Oscar Oppedahl were in charge of flowers.
