BODE - Services for Mrs. Marvin Kropf, 53, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the St. Olaf Lutheran Church, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call after 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Schellhammer Funeral Home, West Bend. Mrs. Kropf suffered a fatal heart attack Saturday (June 15, 1974) while working at the cafe which she and her husband had operated for the past 25 years.

Surviving are the widower, Marvin; daughters, Mrs. Eldon Drenthe, Hickory Hill, Ill.; Mrs. Gerald Lahart, Costa Mesa, Calif.; Mrs. Gilbert Saldine, Fountain Valley, Calif; her mother, Mrs. Elma Opheim, Bode; four grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Allen Olson, Bode; Mrs. Johnnie Loss, Rolfe; Mrs. Phyllis Weiss, Minneapolis, Miss.; Mrs. Wayne Engel, Vincent; and brother, Merle Opheim.

Verna Opheim was born in Humboldt, and educated in rural Bode. She married Marvin Kropf in 1940 at Forest City. She and her husband had owned and operated the Imperial Cafe at Bode for the past 25 years.
