Funeral services for Deloris Collins, 56, Dakota City, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 21 (1982), at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Humboldt, with burial in the St. Mary Cemetery. Rosaries were held at 3 and 8 p.m. Friday at the Lindhart Funeral Home. She died Wednesday at St. Mary's in Rochester, Minn.

The Rev. Mervin Hood officiated at the services, and casketbearers included John Conlin, Donald Conlin, Michael Conlin, Steve Olson, Wayne Rhunke, and Mike Stoddard.

Surviving are her husband, Lewis, Dakota City; sons Ronald, Humboldt; Dennis Newport, Minn.; Robert, Fort Dodge; Timothy, Bode; daughters, Christine Allen, Fort Dodge; Lewanne Gallentine, Harcourt; Lille Jean Terwilliger, Humboldt; 17 grandchildren; brothers, James Stoddard, River Falls, Wis.; Larry Stoddard, Rosebud, Ore.; sisters, Zelda Rhunke, Miller, S.D.; Mary Videen, Luck, Wis.; Alice Miller, Algona; Joan Olson, Humboldt, and Eva Stoddard.

Deloris Stoddard was born the daughter of Guy and Anna Halligan Stoddard in Livermore on March 28, 1926. She was raised and educated in the Livermore area, and was united in marriage to Lewis Collins at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Humboldt in 1946. The couple made their home in Humboldt and Dakota City. She had been hospitalized for five days prior to her death.
